Default 992 C4S Spoiler Options

Hi guys, I have a 2020 911 C4S with the active spoiler. I am wondering what bigger spoiler options are out there for these cars that are more akin to the turbo and GT models? I just like the look of a bigger spoiler as it makes the car pop more. I am also wondering as to how these big exhausts are incorporated with the stock active spoiler that goes up and down?

Links, recommendations and thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

Your main option will be the AeroKit copy that is produced/sold by the Chinese manufacturers.

If you're feeling frisky, there is TechArt.

It's not my cup of tea, but that's a matter of personal taste. Their stuff is usually well engineered, so there is that.

I’d grab an aerokit wing from a totaled vehicle.

Any links for the Chinese options?

How does it work with the active spoiler, do these need to be deactivated or something? I did come across TechArt and though I am in two minds on if I really like it or not, it's like $7K, which is way more than what I'd like to spend on a spoiler.

I’ll post a few…..

The active spoiler function needs to be coded out by the dealership. The cost is approximately $150.00.

There’s also the more expensive DMC version…

I'm just going to say it.

Don't do it. Just on principle alone, don't support Chinese IP theft of a Porsche design. Buy the real thing, or an alternative custom design if you must.

Yes, and judging by a few people I know who have purchased it, fitment is solid.

….and while I would normally agree about the principle rk-d mentioned, when the OEM item isn’t available and the ETA is so far extended that receiving the product is a shot in the dark, it leaves people to seek the aftermarket…..copy or not.

Do you! Nobody would ever know anyway. We buy aftermarket versions of Porsche’s interior trim, this & that. Why is the wing any different?!?!

Yea I can't justify mods at Porsche prices tbh - I keep my vehicles for a short period of time (30+ vehicles in 12'ish years), so it doesn't make sense. Based on the links above, seems like the stock active spoiler portion comes off completely and then you disable the active feature itself and install the aftermarket one. Interesting. I am not certain if it's worth the hassle and I want it that bad especially with painting involved etc., but was definitely curious to know.

Let's be honest, that wing is probably made in China to begin with, and the "aftermarket" copies are rolling out of the same factory.

That being said, "China is asshoe."

just to point out, it looks like all these chinese replicas of the aerokit aren't the same dimensions as the oem aerokit; the overall width of the spoiler looks like it extends a few inches longer on each side. In other words the oem aero wing is the same width as the base; the replica is longer than it's base. So it won't be an exact oem look.. if that matters
