1st time owner first impressions

Also, as a first time owner of a 911, I do feel this car is more of a GT car than a true sports. Very competent and goes where you point it with little fuss. Excels at fast sweepers, but not my first choice for sharp, tight turns.

I have found that the 981/982 Cayman is much closer to a “sports car” drive than the 991/992 which also Hadith’s distinct advantages.

I had heads-up on my AMG and for me, in Florida, its mostly worthless. Polarized sun glasses, which is a must here to avoid glare, make the heads-up basically invisible. I never use much of the PCM, just go to Apple CarPlay, have a few buttons configured next to hit for things I like to access with a single click and works flawless.

Thanks for the write up & congrats on the car. My Gentian C4S locks in 16 days. I want the PCCBs for the brake dust delete but that’s an expensive want for a car that won’t see the track. I’m doing red accents inside to match the red brakes. Not to mention the fact that my SA said it would delay my build for who knows how long at this point. So I passed. I wanted my wife to get Tanzanite on the X7 we ordered for her a few months ago, but she prefers Arctic Gray, so happy wife and stuff. Thanks for the photo of the 2 cars next to each other—I have not seen that before and it was quite interesting and informative to see the side by side difference. I’ve also ticked the boxes for RAS and FAL and glad that I did. Enjoy your car in good health and drive it like it was meant to be driven!
