Drew46, absolutely gorgeous car, congratulations!! I noticed in the pics that you had what appears to be a Slate Grey dash/steering wheel with a red interior, or is it the Black with the Bordeaux Red interior? I, too, have an allocation for a Targa 4 GTS, and I'm thinking about going with a Dolomite Siver exterior with a Graphite Blue interior, but I'm not keen on having a blue steering wheel (would much prefer Slate Grey) -- hoping that I can combine the Slate Grey and Graphite Blue like what it appears you did with Slate Grey and red

 

That's black, not slate grey, with the red. It's just the way the light is in the pics.

 

Are your cars coming full spec; i.e. electric steering adjuster mechanism, two keys, etc?

Thank you! It is the Bordeaux/Black. I wanted something other than black (for once) and for me, the full leather int he same color can be overwhelming - particularly is a bold color like Bordeaux.

 

Ok, thank you. You have contributed thoughtful comments on this and other threads -- what are your thoughts on a full-leather Graphite Blue/Chalk stitching interior with a Dolomite exterior (Targa 4 GTS with Silver Targa Bar) vs. going with a Slate Grey/ Chalk stitching interior with Graphite Blue deviated seat centers? Again, for some reason I'm just not too crazy about a blue steering wheel. Many thanks

 

I've played with that spec a few times too, check out JWW's Turbo S on YouTube for some good close ups of the leather (Gentian Blue car though). Another consideration I had was Dolomite silver (black calipers) with the GTS pack and deviated speed blue stitching.

 

Crouching Targa, thank you. I've seen the JWW video, and I think he was surprised how good the Graphite Blue looked! I'm leaning this direction, but would prefer a black steering wheel and column rather than Graphite Blue. I've emailed my SA to check with the CXX Department to see if I can get this combo, as I noticed that a Bordeaux Red interior on the Porsche configurator appears to come with a black steering wheel/column. I generally don't like the steering wheel in colored leather. But that is jut personal taste. There is no right or wrong. If I were to do that I would likely lean toward the Slate b/c I thin it is less "in your face", but the Graphite is not over to top either. At the end of the day, get what speaks to you.

 

Drew46, I feel the same. If I can't get a black steering wheel with the Graphite Blue interior, I'll most likely go Slate Grey interior but perhaps add a pop of color with Graphite Blue seat centers on the quilted 930 leather package.
