Wondering if others awaiting an order also have had the same experience with TYD. The overview in my Porsche account recently changed to 2- scheduled for production. But looking at the details in TYD it remains at the first step - order created. My freeze date is still 20+ days away. Any thoughts?

Does it say when the car is scheduled to enter production?

Yes, on the detailed time line, it is scheduled to go to production 4/29 and build date of 5/08. Those are the dates I'm still going with...keeping fingers crossed that those are reasonably solid estimates. Although with ships sinking, war in Ukraine, and now the news today that China is heading back to a covid lockdown which will likely affect semi-conductor supplies, who knows? I'll consider myself lucky it I get my car anytime before the end of 2022

It does that and did it with me. It moves to Phase 2 while you are still at Milestone 1. Mine has stayed in Phase 2 even though I am now waiting on Milestone 8 (scheduled for 3/10 so also not updated).

In my last 2 orders, if you have any changes now that you have been scheduled for production - I would finalize if you can, as some (including me mid last year) got moved up 1 week from my freeze date. I was good with that, as I had made my last change several weeks before stage 2. Just an FYI - you could get accelerated a little bit.

Treat TYD with a grain of salt. Many folks have issues with it not being accurate or slow to update, or just plain wrong. It is fun to see your car on it's way though.

Same for me. I was never in Phase 1. Phase 2 covered all milestones from 1 through 5 Production Completed - CP8.0. It changed for me to phase 3 about a week after the car arrived at Emden.

I’m told my car has been in Emden for a few weeks now. I even received the email where I believe I can find the pics, but the link goes not to the My Porsche login but to a sign up for it. I have the app as well as the desktop login and my is still showing at Step 2/4 - slated for production.

I’m in Canada and it’s pretty frustrating to see some of the details others are receiving (maps, specific dates, etc) and I cannot see any of that for TYD. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong, and believe I’m looking in the correct location.

The only thing I see when I’m logging in is the first photo below.

Can anyone tell me where the hi-res photos of your car can be found in TYD?

At this point, how accurate is the estimated date of delivery?

It seems to be either spot on or the vehicle arrives early. I haven't heard of anybody's car arriving after the TYD estimated date. Even mine is currently showing an ETA of 4/15/22, but the boat will clear the Panama Canal tomorrow and it takes maybe a week from the canal to San Diego. My car should arrive ahead of schedule. I can't see it taking a month from the canal to San Diego to my So.Cal dealership.
