Cool Here’s the trick

Remove 2 of the spark plugs and the car will be transformed. At 2000 rpm, you will feel the thrill of a GT3 as the engine vibrations course through the chassis and into the cabin giving you the validation you have always wanted in life.

Not sure I agree. A C2/4 w/MT would've been the perfect choice for many. I only got the S because of the transmission . . .

I was in the same boat. Had the base been offered with the manual transmission, I would've gone that route. I don't regret having to pony up for the S (...because of the added benefits), but the reality is I would've been in a base MT had that been an option.

What the OP is proposing is spending extra money for less performance in order to have the base “experience”.

With that in mind if the Base model was offered in a manual transmission, but cost MORE than the S with a manual would you still buy the Base model???

I’m going to go out on a limb and say 99% of people would NOT.

OP is absolutely delusional wanting to detune a GTS to Base performance, but they do win the award for most amusing and entertaining thread currently on Rennlist

put 3 layers of cardboard behind the gas pedal. Problem solved.

Wow, this is the most retarded (apologies for using this un-pc term) thing I've read or seen on the Internet. Including the youtuber who smashes his Tesla touchscreen with a hammer just to see if the car still worked.

Sounds like he would want Porsche to offer a Black key and Red key like Dodge does for the Hellcat that detunes them. Maybe he used to own a Hellcat

Did you just censor the word "*****"? Is that a naughty word now? I thought it was just the latin name for a male body part.

I mean, if it was an overpowered car with ****ty handling, sure. But doing it on a car that already needs a bit of a flogging to get squirrely? Don't get it at all.

At that point you might just want to add a Toyota Camry body kit to your detuned 911

If I’m going to screw with the ECU, then it’s going to be to add power, not take it away. If I wanted to be slower, I’d do that with the throttle pedal.

So pay more money for a faster model, then pay even more money to make it feel like the slower model?
