Default Does V200 Mean I'm Good?

I have been waiting since September 2021 for an allocation and today I finally received the first build sheet that actually has my personal info on it and a V200 code. Am I good to go at this point? It's been so long that I want to triple-confirm this before I start getting excited over nothing. But it feels like it's finally happening on my end. Should I be expecting the TYD email next?

Yes, you’re good. Congrats!

You will 100% get a car. The only question is when…

Thanks for the confirmation.
I'm OK with the production wait, I still need to get a couple of things in my garage in order. The hardest part has been the allocation and securing my place in the production line. As long as I know it's happening, the wait feels easy. Besides, I promised myself I wouldn't become of the guys on here that all of sudden becomes an expert in international shipping port operations Of course, I say that now and maybe it will get harder as it goes along

Very good. Congrats!! The wait may seem endless, but you'll have your ride soon enough.

I got my TYD welcome email the same day I received my confirmed V200 status. Check with your S.A. if you haven't received it.

You should get your TYD email soon. Mine arrived the next morning after they placed the order. Just make sure they associated your email with the order.

My SA said that TYD should come live but didn't specify when. I received the build sheet with today's date, so to your point, yes, I'm going to give it the weekend for it to come through and I'll follow up with my SA if I haven't received it by Tuesday.

Congrats! I got my V200 yesterday as well after putting a deposit down mid-August 2021. Still can’t believe it’s going to happen…

Thanks and congrats to you too! You mind me asking which model you got? It seems like all of us from the August/September timeframe are just coming around now since my date was Sept 16, 2021. Thats a pretty good datapoint for anyone interested now - allocations are at about 6 months for some models.

Mine is a C2S. Here’s the build code if you’re curious. Not sure if PTS will be an option so well see. Likely will do Aventurine Green if not Oak Green Metallic or British Racing Green.

What about yours?

I'm also a C2. By my count, you are the 5th C2X car that received an allocation in the past 2 days and posted on this board - wow! I guess us "little people" with C2's are finally getting our day in the sun

To add to this, we can be pretty certain that C2's are taking about 6 months. If we presume that its the least "complex" model to put together, then that would be the minimum timeline for any allocations and would only go up from there.

Your dealer should have a schedule for PTS freeze dates by build month. If the PTS freeze date for your build month has passed, Nein.

At least that’s why I have an Aventurine Green car coming. My SA sent me the schedule showing my allocation missed the deadline and asked if I wanted to pass on the allocation and wait for one where the PTS window was still open, but warned it could take up to a year. I’m glad I didn’t risk it right about now.

A quick thanks to everyone that replied to my initial query. Today I finally received my TYD email. For some reason, that is the point where this is all feeling like a real thing. The V200 was nice to see since it was the first time I saw a build sheet with all my personal info on it, but the TYD is what actually puts it in my hands and makes me feel like, "wow, this is actually happening!".

Congrats! Now the wait becomes "real" too!
