Lost the spare key for my '19 Macan just before it was due to go back off lease. Didn't have much choice, bought a new one. $550 for the key and $150 for programming.

I had a finance officer try to sell me a $250 key replacement policy. Made it sound like it was the best deal ever and I was dumb for passing it up. Tried to tell me that if a key is lost the only way to replace is having to buy a new key and module for the car and it could cost thousands lol. Luckily my extra key showed up a week after getting the car.
