Food for thought, disillusioned?

When I drop my Tesla from 3rd down to 2nd at 80 for some boost, I have to watch the throttle so I don't redline the Ph in the Lithium.

The original Honda Insight combined a manual transmission with a hybrid drivetrain.

There are EV conversions with a manual drivetrain. So, that exists as well.

Nevertheless, never seen one, never driven one…and don’t know anyone that has one…and I know a LOT of hybrid and EV car owners.
But like everything in life, there are exceptions to everything.

If you don't like the 992, or don't like it enough, then get rid of it and get something else (like the 997, which you seem to be enamored with).
Life is too short to have to "settle" for a car -- especially a car retailing at around 150k.
There's no need to have to justify the purchase of the 911, even a little bit.

This. This is the plot. If the car doesn’t do it for you, sell it. Unless you paid a big pile of ADM, you’ll nearly break even.

I wish that Tesla would fit a gearbox, because the acceleration at speed is underwhelming compared to what it delivers off of the line.

Really, I've only been in my friend's Model 3 Performance and it seemed to do pretty good from 60 to 100 or whatever. But I've ridden in it all of 2 or 3 times. I'm waiting on the Macan EV to replace my wife's Macan S.
