Glovis Sonic delivery expectations
This is my first time obsessively tracking an inbound car on a ship. Good times! Glovis Sonic shows due into San Diego on March 5. For those of you that have done this before, when do you think I will actually get to pick up my car at the dealer if I’m in Northern California. Mid March?
Appreciate any color from veterans of this process.

For the other west coasters….
…..the Green Ridge is making good time and the Glovis Sigma, which is the vessel my car is on, left Emden yesterday en route to the west coast. The RCC America and Glovis Condor are still at Bremerhaven. The Glovis Cosmos is due in Emden on 3/12/22.

"The ship will go from San Diego to Benecia. From Benecia it will be trucked to your dealership. You should have your car by mid March." Referring to the Glovis Sonic, which is now in the Pacific and heading for San Diego.
I live in San Rafael, Redwood Region, PCA, and have not been active in the club. I've been following my previous 2 Porsches in 2011 and 2014 when they arrived in San Diego, but have never seen the ship come into port. Glovis Sonic is scheduled via "follow your dream" to enter the port channel for Benicia on March 11. I was thinking of following the Glovis Sonic under the Golden Gate Bridge, the Richmond San Rafael Bridge, and investigating whether there is a restaurant or bar that would give a good view of the ship docking. After the Felicity Ace, a safe arrival of your Porsche is certainly no guarantee, and at age 86, I have no guarantee that I will have a similar opportunity in the future.
I wonder if any other nearby enthusiasts are interested in toasting the seafarers who brought their ship in to safety, with its cargo. I'm reachable via neophron1@gmail.com
