After a long delay (since receiving it in July) I finally got this installed at the dealer and got the car back today. It was all well worth it.

It is definitely not a plug and play kit, as there are a couple of wiring modifications that have to be done for the new spoiler harness to plug into the existing car’s harness. Suncoast needs to clarify this on their website. It took the dealer about 2 days to install (I painted thru 3rd party and put together the base and wing top myself); it’s the first they have ever done. They also coded out the entire spoiler lift function/toggle from the PCM, so it’s very oem-like and no error codes.

What was your total cost including paint job? Looks great!

Quite a bit, I’m still not trying to think about it lol.
I was lucky to get it earlier when the price was around 2200, plus about 600 for paint and 500 for install; but that was only because a friend working at the dealership hooked me up with his employee pricing otherwise it would’ve been well over 1500 for just the install.

Definitely OEM-like because it’s OEM. It looks great!

They removed the entire active aero motor assembly along with the active aero wing, right?!?

Nice! That's actually not bad price. I saw it on suncoast for ~2k. Price jumped to 5k and now back down to ~4.4k. Debating on carbon fiber one from DMC and not deal with paint job.

As soon as someone posts a complete set of instructions with pics including part numbers I'll move to the DIY Section.

Your car looks outstanding! Thanks once again for being the inspiration for my own mod plans. Seriously kicking myself for not buying the OEM wing at half price. I should've known the price was too good to last when Porsche actually released something that cost less than the aftermarket alternatives.

Thanks! I didn't do most of the work, the dealer did. I only assembled the top wing to it's base and the black plastic air scoop (before giving it to the dealer) which was pretty straight forward.

Definitely the aerokit is a little heavier than the original active-lift spoiler.. maybe a 8-10lb difference at most.

FYI for others: Suncoast lists the aerokit wing as in stock. I emailed last week and confirmed that it was in stock, and my unit will be delivered tomorrow. If you're interested, their site still claims to have them in stock with limited availability, so now might be the time to jump on it.

You and me both. At $2k it was a steal.

Holy cow, it’s $4,400 now???

Even if you hated it, I’d order it from factory and sell it.
