Awesome! What kind of rear diffuser are you running? Can you post more pictures of your car, i.e. side views and more from the back with a better view of the rear diffuser? I have a non-SD car that I'm thinking of getting an aerokit rear wing for and want to see how the overall car looks w/ the wing. Thanks!

@M3Inline6 Check it out. Cyberzlolot actually ordered an OEM aerokit rear wing for his non-aerokit car. It would be even easier for you b/c you actually have the SD pkg.

This is great news!!!! I will absolutely do the exact same thing.

@Cyberzolot How easy was the install and did you need to order any additional parts aside from the wing itself? What was the approximate cost? I suspect the dealer had to code out the active aero lift via the PCM as well.

Don’t they need to replace the engine cover also? You know, the part with the center mounted stop lights?

Yes, that’s why his part numbers include chrome or primered slats.

The cost depends on your region. Approximately $1800.
Installation is very simple, plus painting.
I didn’t have plugs 992827257 and 992827258 in the kit, there were difficulties with wiring, I don’t know how it will be for you.

The engine cover is also changing. Two options - with chrome strips or with strips for painting.

I am in California. Where are you? What are the plugs you mentioned used for? Also, would you mind detailing the wiring difficulties and the installation process? You’re trail blazing for the rest of us so I know we’ll have questions.

I did not have two plugs for a new engine cover in the kit. I had to order them.
There were two wires in the kit (instead of one), and both do not fit the brake light wiring. I made a separate wire.

You may have a different set. You will need to check when you receive and install the kit.

Thank you for explaining that. As for the install, does it bolt up the same way - and at the same mounting points - as the active aero wing?

The wing comes with a new base. Also included is a new engine cover without a brake light (with chrome strips or paintable), as well as a new front spoiler (paintable). Everything is installed in regular places.

I think it’s awesome that it comes with another front lip.

Since the new engine cover eliminates the vertical brake lights, does the aerokit wing come with the third brake light integrated into the wing itself? Or is that brake light an additional part that needs to be purchased separately? Thanks again. You are a true pioneer for those of us who missed out on being able to order an aerokit.

Would sure be helpful for somebody to list specifically which parts are needed, along with parts numbers.

edit, sorry, re-read thread with a bit more attention to detail! Thanks!
