The option to have PCCBs has disappeared from the configurator here in the UK unless you want a GT model or Turbo/Turbo S!

I have a deposit down for a 992 Carrera 4 GTS and really want PCCBs as I already have on my Panamera GTS and 991 GT2 RS; in the last week the option has disappeared from the UK configurator 😡.

However, I notice that the North American configurator still includes them! Go figure......

Does anyone her on RL know what's occurring? Is it a shortage of materials etc? Or are PCCBs to be phased out except for top end versions?

They make too much many to get phased out. May be a supply chain or configurator issue.

My configuration is on hold here in the US for this reason. Must be a supply issue.

I'm in the same position as yourself. Based in the UK and have a deposit down on a 992 GTS with PCCB's. I phoned my sales advisor and he stated that they are still available to order on his system.

I've heard they are being limited to GT models because of supply shortage. Orders for GTS with PCCB would be delayed a while (a year?).

Confirm with your SA. Options sometimes disappear and then reappear.

My Targa GTS just finished the production phase a few weeks ago and was fitted with the PCCB as ordered. Sounds like I may have dodged a bullet if this is true.

I assume if your order is accepted with PCCB you should be good. At least I hope that is the case as I have them on my order from 11-6-21.

Even if you have ordered with PCCBs they will call you to inform that this year no option for ceramics and you can cancel the whole order. There is no even option for „longer waiting time”.

I'd wait until they are available. I read in an automotive magazine that these 911's don't stop at all unless they have PCCBs, many accidents have been reported...
