Paldao Wood Chipping

My trim is fine so far. That didn't happen by accident. Someone nicked it pretty good. I'd use a wood marker, personally.

It’ll hold up well except under heat. The plastic coating and wood will expand at different rates which causes cracks in the plastic . However, if the car spends the majority of it’s life in a garage, it shouldn’t be a problem

That trim part could also be replaced, but may take a while to get the part , check with your dealer on cost. If you are reasonable and polite, there is a chance they will warranty it even though they probably don't have to.

Thank you for the response. Agreed, politely asking always goes a long way. The chips are minor blemishes on an otherwise fantastic machine. I ordered the combo “furniture pens” from Amazon. Should do the trick. Getting ready for a 10 day road trip tomorrow with my bride. Should be a lot of fun. Here’s a pic in the garage tonight. I’m looking forward to getting her a bit dirty and enjoying the adventure.

I absolutely love the Truffle/Paldao trim with my AG 2022 C2. It’s exactly what I hoped it would be.
Nonetheless, I noticed a couple chips/flakes in the center trim piece. I blame the PPF guys but that may not be the case. Regardless, two questions for my fellow RL folks:
1: How’s your (uhm…) wood holding up?
2. Any thoughts on how to repair/cover up the knicks?
Thanks so much.
