Default Exterior for Interior in Bordeaux Red with Chalk Stitching

A little bit of an unorthodox question, but assuming you really like and have decided on the Bordeaux Red with Chalk Stitching, what would be your choice of exterior color? I know people think exterior color first, then decide what would work for the interior, but if you had to go the other way around and fix your interior to be Bordeaux Red on your C2S in manual - what exterior color will you pick?

Silver - AND - it has to be GT Silver. Had a GT Silver Cayman with the Bordeaux Red - it was SWEET!

Nice. Your question reminds me of this car (a '70 Pontiac GTO) which has a red interior and an unexpected exterior color. After seeing this, I spent about a week figuring out which new manufacturers have OEM red interiors and which of their exterior color choices would emulate the same contrast: https://www.motortrend.com/features/...e-never-meant/.

On a 992 if I *had* to spec a Bordeaux interior, I would choose Shark Blue. Many on this forum may disagree, but it's the unique and cool combo that no one seems to be choosing.
Gentian Blue works well, too. I've seen a Gentian/Bordeaux 992 cab in South Florida and it was gorgeous - very Ralph Lauren / Mega Yacht / Hamptons in the most classic sense.

Everybody will steer you to the obvious non-colors (grays, blacks, and whites) but that's just so expected and almost not worth suggesting. Shark Blue with Bordeaux, baby! (FYI, I chose Python Green with Chalk for my own 992.) More than in most cars I've experienced, from the 992 cockpit you actually see a lot of your exterior color in your surrounds, sightlines, and side mirrors and will be constantly reminded of your exterior-interior color choice and contrast. So make it count, and make it something you can be obsessed with!

'70 GTO with red interior and unexpectedly awesome exterior color

I love the '66-67, but I can appreciate the '68-70, and especially the '70 as well. The opening scene of "Dazed And Confused" with the Orbit Orange '70 Judge circling the high school parking lot with Aerosmith "Sweet Emotion" playing was EPIC the first time seeing it. Conversely, I do think the '71 GTO is one of the ugliest front ends in Detroit history. People love what they love - it has to do with their age and influences throughout their car life. Cheers!

That opening scene is still epic every time I watch it.

I saw an Agate Gray GT3 with a Bordeaux Red interior recently. Really complemented each other.
