Default Dashboard End Cap to Door Pillar Trim Gap - Anyone Else?

Please take a look at the picture below.
Does anyone else have a similar gap between the dashboard end cap and the door pillar trim piece?
My drivers side is shown in the picture below. My passenger side is fine, there is no gap on the passenger side.
FWIW, if this is a "common problem" . . . . . . or so says my dealer, this could well be something that is showing up on one or both sides of the car. Hence the poll.
.

Both driver and passenger side trim are tight with no gap.

I believe that trim is easily removed and on your vehicle may not have been installed correctly 🥴🥴🥴

Thank you for you reply. I did check the installation. Both the Trim Piece and the Dash End Cap are installed correctly with respect to their attachment points for each piece. It's as if one of three things is going on: 1.) The Dashboard is not fully forward of the position where it should be. 2.) The Dash End Cap curvature where its edge meets the Trim Piece is not correct. -or- 3.) The Trim Piece curvature where its edge meets the Dash End Cap is not correct.

Send the picture to your dealer or show them in person. That is a warranty issue.

Yup, Already shown to dealer who says it’s “normal”. I’m not inclined to buy that.

Ask him to show you the same "normal" fitment on any 992's he has in for service - since there are non on the lot.

Oh yea, tried that . . . . I'm getting the: "It's common . . . . but we don't have any in the dealership like yours." Ugh, give me a break! At some point I suppose I'll need to get PCNA involved. Wish it were not so.

If you have another dealer nearby, see what they say.

Well, "common" and "normal" are not synonymous. Lot's of systematic warranty issues are "common" but that does not mean they are acceptable.
