PTS Moonlight Blue on a 911 Cab
I’m working on the build for my first 911 and am considering a PTS blue. I’m leaning towards Moonlight Blue. I’m thinking of pairing it with a black with chalk stitching interior and RS Spyder wheels. Has anyone done a moonlight blue 911. I appreciate any advice.

Moonlight blue isn't a bad choice....too bad Porsche canceled Night Blue...Can't find any pics of a 911 in Moonlight blue since it was a standard Cayenne color.

Since you're asking for advice- going off the picture posted (same thing I got from Google...), I can't see how it wouldn't be an immense waste of money for that color. I'll concede it's an extremely limited sample size, but to my eye that is pretty much Night Blue Metallic. Sure, it was a good color and Porsche discontinued it, but if you're going to pay thousands of dollars it should be clearly differentiated from other 992s.
If you have better pics post them up, but from what I can see pick Gentian Blue, pocket the $8k or however much it costs, save the added factory headaches and go buy a nice JLC or Panerai (I'd say Rolex but we all know you can't afford a Rolex for 8k these days...).

I appreciate it. That’s what I’m worried about. It is pretty similar to night blue. I just want something darker than GB. I have attached a few pictures of what I found on the Internet. But its not a big sample size like you said. Its definitely not a radical color or something that stands out. And I have had my eye on a JLC master ultra thin for a while.

If going for a dark blue PTS, I would go for Dark Blue Metallic.
It's my favorite dark blue Porsche makes. It has a touch of teal undertone and is just a beautiful and unique color, but still very subtle.

I agree with the other posters here. It seems a shame to spend so much money and not have a significantly differentiated car. But if that's your choice, Dark Blue Metallic is a much better color than Midnight Blue imo.

Paying that much for PTS just to get a similar color is silly. Make your car stand out!

If you want a *real* PTS dark blue then I'd consider Albert Blue. It's a dark nonmetallic.

Man, never gave Albert Blue much thought but taking a further look, it's definitely a winner!

Wait, on-topic? Albert Blue is pretty nice.

+1 for Albert Blue from a Night Blue Metallic owner. Love NBM but it's def pretty dark. Albert seems like the best of both worlds.
