Default brake response in the wet

Hi,

my 992 C2 with standard brake with 6000 miles has a very bad brake response when the brakes are wet. It's very scary sometimes.
You need to push the brake very hard to get the full braking power.
Can anybody relate to this? I did a few laps Nürburgring, maybe the brake are glazed?

Regards
Philipp

How’s the tread on your tires?

Fresh winter tyres. It's not slip from the tyres. It's the brake response.

You need to give the brakes a tap every once in a while to keep them warm. Porsche does a very good job of cooling the brakes.

Normal for a high performance car in the cold and wet.

Yup, gotta do a brake check every once in a while.

And even sometimes in the hot and dry.

Just ask Verstappen, he can tell you all about it at Jeddah Corniche with Hamilton in the rear ...

Went to the dealer, they said it's because the holes in the brake disc are dirty.
Cleaned them now, and also the brake pads because they were glaced which is more the problem than the holes I think.

In the right side the brake pad has a gap on the carrier plate, I will ask my dealer if I can get a new brake pad.
First test with wet brakes were positive, have to wait for rain to confirm it.

Is that caused from unpaved roads or possibly brake dust? I don’t think I’ve seen that happen so early.
