Is it worth paying over sticker for used 992?

I'm picking up the car next week.
I traded my Tesla Plaid for it. The dealer gave me over what I originally paid for the Plaid including the taxes. I paid about 3k over the sticker price of the 2020 C2S but 2k under the current 2022 sticker price on the same car with the same options.
I ended up saving $10,000 in taxes by trading in my Tesla so I went for it. I hope it holds its value just in case I want to trade it for an R8 in a couple years.

If you are nervous to pay over sticker for a used car, why do it? I would use my own judgment rather than asking for advice from others who may have money to throw away. 911s are also very expensive to repair so having a new car warranty is very valuable.
if you are willing to wait, I would order s car from the factory based on your preferences.

If time is an issue (health), then do it. If not, buy something else. Everyone here pontificates on this situation getting worse over the next few years. However, economic cycles and history say otherwise. The problem is that the current bull run has lasted so long that people have simply forgotten how economics work.

Except you can’t always get your money back.
OP, if your question is ‘am i buying at the peak and likely to lose serious coin if I sell in two years?’, the answer is most likely yes.
If the question is, ‘should I buy it?, only you can answer that.

Here's one that sold for under sticker.
Maybe market is not what dealership's say it is?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again here.
You can always make more money. Time? Not so much.
Your choice.

The market is paying more for your existing car as well, it's the changeover amount you need to consider. People often forget to mention that.
