Default Tire Pressure Monitor Accuracy

I have two recently purchased good quality tire pressure gauges. One gauge reads 33 pounds in a rear tire; the second reads 35; and, the tire pressure monitor in the car reads 34. Has anyone determined whether the tire pressure monitor is accurate? The gauges that I bought are supposed to conform to ANSI standards, which requires them to be accurate within 1.5%-- so clearly, at least one of my purchased gauges is wrong since they differ by 2 pounds. I'd like it if the most accurate gauge is the one in the car, so I'm curious about other people's experiences. I'm compulsive about getting my pressures right.

I am a firm believer that tire pressure gauges vary quite a bit, my wife has one that is ANSI rated as mine is; hers is always wrong

It’s very accurate. I actually picked up a more accurate tire pressure gauge to help with my OCD when filling them to ensure that the dash numbers matched.

I have 3 or 4 different gauges I have used to test my various cars. the porsche onboard tpms is within .5psi or any or mine, so pretty close. I do think it rounds up on the onboard as opposed to my ARB or Jaco, but I think it is pretty close to not worry about it.

I have a Milwaukee battery operated filler, that I also use, and honestly it is one of the best devices you can have to get pretty darn close when filling tires to be exact. Just one method if you are ocd and want exact for each tires...
