so jealous!
what a beauty!!
I’m still waiting for my Targa4 GTS allocation to open up, I’m next in-line, hoping for ED if possible 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
thank you!! I placed a deposit for mine in July of last year, received my allocation in early Nov., and took delivery about 4 weeks ago. Good luck and it's well worth the wait!!!
6 days to lock on the replacement build for my swimming with the fishes GTS on the FA. The original had 18 ways in leather, lightweight noise insulated glass. Now considering going the full lightweight pckg, full buckets, rear seat delete. Complete build here: PN13HKJ7

Love it. If mine wasn't a daily, I would have gone full lightweight.

My Felicity Ace replacement just locked on Monday. I added a couple minor things (crests on the headrests and exclusive taillights) that I'm glad I added, but otherwise kept it the same. I sure wish I already had my car, but happy her replacement is getting closer to production. Build: PNIS4VD0

I lost PCCB and PDCC, neither of which I will miss.
All, fairly new to Rennlist but not to Porsche; however, as this is my first 911 (a GTS, as I love driving our MY 2021 Cayenne Coupe GTS), I'd like the experienced Rennlisters on this Forum to comment upon my build link below. The freeze date is not until mid-June, and like so many others on this Forum I'm sure I'll refine a number of things between now and then. Many thanks in advance for those reviewing http://www.porsche-code.com/PNYZ5L71 and sharing your thoughts/insights
A very nice build. i like the very simple understated nature of it. Understand that the Matrix Headlights, as of today, are not activated in the US and it is not clear that Porsche will retrofit (or more accurately retro-program) cars with the Matrix lights once they are generally available in new cars. But some people like the look and are willing to roll the dice on whether they later get activated. I also have a Targa GTS on its way and I included PDCC. From my research (but no first hand experience), I have come to the conclusion that it is very beneficial for the targa with the higher COG and that is also improves the ride quality generally and not just the edge of the envelope. performance.
Drew46, thank you for your thoughts (and I'm so glad that you chimed in, as I've seen your thoughtful comments on other threads). The understated nature that you recognized is deliberate, as I buy Porsches to drive and enjoy and not to make any sort of statement. I have gone back and forth on the PDCC for the reason that you mention, but my SA (from whom we bought our Cayenne Coupe GTS 2 years ago) advises against it, as he did 2 years ago, unless I plan on tracking this car, which I don't. In driving the Cayenne GTS pretty hard, I haven't observed any discernable body roll when cornering despite not having PDCC, and since it's COG is higher than the Targa's, my thought is that I'll probably be ok without it. However, had I not had the non-PDCC Cayenne GTS experience, I would do exactly what you have done and order it because the weight of the technical research is in favor.
Sounds like you have it well thought out. For me, the driving factor (no pun intended) behind getting PDCC was not performance as I likely will not track this car - that's not typically why one gets a Targa. But I have read/been told that the adjustability (for lack of a better technical term) of the PDCC actually provides a more comfortable and compliant ride over rougher surfaces. Living in NY and going back and forth to VT regularly means that rough road surfaces are the norm for me. Of course, opting for PDCC forced me into RWS which I didn't want at first but now am glad I included. When I saw you checked the box for RWS, I thought maybe I could help you spend just a little more of your money.
Ahhh, I see your build is just as well thought out -- driving over NY and VT roads is not at all like driving over TX roads; in TX, all we ever seem to do is build more roads or repave over existing. However, you will be able to enjoy your Targa in the Fall much more than I'll enjoy mine (at least until I retire to western NC)
To my surprise my SA called me with an allocation for a 4 GTS as someone dropped out! My build locks July 4th but I feel like I got this dialed in as I've been waiting for a GT3T allocation for a couple years that will likely not materialize until the 992.2. But I'm incredibly excited as this will be my first 911! http://www.porsche-code.com/PNNMF1N4
