I’m on the waiting list, and have been since July, and not expecting a car till middle of 2022

Yeah, which is like 5 months away tops and you get the spec you want at MSRP. Don't feed the scalpers tbh

A pet peeve of mine is when people say “fully loaded” in an ad and then list pretty much mainly standard features (in case you all didn’t know this car comes with air conditioning!!). Sure this car has some options but by no means is it a fully loaded GTS. Fully loaded, at least to me, means the car pretty much has 95% plus of available options / packages. This car is far from it.

🧐 All the uk dealers I’ve spoken to are saying at least a 12 month wait if you were to order now, been like this for a few months.

Yes probably, I have summer as last from my OPC when I put the deposit. Going next week to firm up the build. YMMV?

Still, idk, I wouldn't get over MSRP and happy to wait. Its the principle. But horse courses etc

I only shared the link as it was the first one I’ve seen for sale, I wouldn’t buy it at such a high price, much rather wait for the spec I want.

A few thoughts —

1) That thing is gorgeous - excited for my JBM GTS

2) The steering wheel is on the wrong side

3) Missing a pedal

Overall beautiful car that someone will surely enjoy owning.

You and a lot of other people have "orders". That's a far cry from having an allocation. Even with an allocation, you are 3-4 months out from getting a car. With an "order", your are likely 12-18 months out. Of course YMMV, but not necessarily in a positive way.

that’s actually near enough the same spec (and colour) as my one which should hopefully arrive in a couple of weeks. I wonder to Porsche not look out for this kind of thing and blacklist the buyer from all dealers.. Bad form really..

I ordered my car day after the reveal in June I believe. Was told “next driving season’. Got an email today I have to lock my spec by the 30th November and car arrives to dealer March 18. Way quicker than expected 😁
