[QUOTE=icanthelpit;17772986]I inked my deal Aug 02 and have a signed Buyers Order at MSRP for a 2022 GTS. At the time, I was not guaranteed the allocation time (up to 12 months was what I was told) but the specific performance of the contract had : 2022 GTS, MSRP price. Got my allocation Nov 04. Mar 2022 forecast delivery.
When was the buyers order signed? At the time of the demand order? Who initiated it? You or the dealer? Thanks.
Here in Hawaii, an ADM has been a common feature on many run-of-the-mill cars for generations.
10 years ago, I had a Honda dealer try to get me to pay a 5k ADM on a CR-V. Of course I laughed, but I bet lots of people here don’t know better and just pay it.
Good luck. Seems like a “relationship” doesn’t mean much.
I agree my chances look slim. I just heard that the whole country is only receiving 900 allocations for 911s in November when usually there's about 2500.
That's less then 5 per dealership on average ...
What color is your Targa? I'm hoping to get Dolomite Silver with 930 seats in Mojave Beige.

It is indeed Dolomite Silver with Sport-Tex seats, and a several other options. Here's the configuration: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNGUSJY4
And here is a photo from Porsche of my car as it is completing production. Delivery is next month at PEC-LA. Lucky for me (again), since PEC-LA delivery is no longer an option for most P-cars.

It is a bit frightening how one youtuber can post a completely unsubstantiated number and it almost immediately get repeated and re-quoted over and over as gospel. I don't have the data to know whether or not Nick is correct, but I am certainly not just taking his word as fact either.

You're obviously newer here... haha.
You are so right. People quote that guy like he's the Porsche messiah. Somehow, someway, even after things have long been debunked (i.e GTS will have larger turbos and thus more lag even though at that point, no one had driven or seen the car), whatever he says seems to take a life of its own because some people believe it and continue on with the unsubstantiated claims like it was their own thought. I guess it's sort of indicative of the day and age we live in. Credit to him though, he has his believers/followers...

I’m quickly becoming convinced some people on here understand his dog is controlling him and feeding the Porsche intel to him.
