Default Bluetooth audio not working on Android

I can play Spotify via Android Bluetooth, but when I try to play other music sources, like from a Youtube video, the car just mutes itself and doesn't play any sound.

Anyone has any luck with getting the 2021 992 to play music from a Youtube video on Android BT?

If you don’t have YouTube premium, you’re not going to be able to play audio over Bluetooth with the phone screen off.

The phone screen was on. I can't play Facebook videos either. Does it work on your Android?

Anything streamed over BT should send information to your screen whether it's YouTube or Spotify. Is your streaming information displaying on your PCM?

Make sure you are not in do not disturb mode

It's 2021 model btw, no Android Auto.
It doesn't show up on the screen.

I figured out the problem. PCM still shows Spotify when I play another source unless I fully close the app (sometimes I had to disconnect and reconnect BT).
Kinda annoying that PCM doesn't automatically disconnect Spotify and play the other source.
