I'm sure everyone is aware that the courtesy service needs to be done within a year or 10,000 miles whichever comes sooner. I normally don't bother as driving 750 miles for an oil change etc....
However, given we have a recall for certain 992s (seat belt) and the irritating knocking (assuming from the fuel tank) my year would end March 29. I thus contacted PNA and asked for an extension given atmospheric conditions likely this time of year between Fairbanks and Anchorage. I initially requested if I could have until latest May 29 as we've had snow well into April and May. I was just told (and confirmed by email) that there is a grace period totaling 6 months which brings the limit to 18 months from registration of vehicle AS LONG AS THE MILEAGE OF THE VEHICLE DOES NOT EXCEED 15,000 MILES. Be sure you check in with PNA CS to have your profile updated with this.
Another Good To Know, but get it in writing from PNA as this is not a dealer decision.

Forgot to add an important detail.
In my case the purchasing dealer is over 4,000 miles from where I am so it's kind of unlikely that I will doing a courtesy or any service there. So, IF, like me, you bought at one dealer and are doing your service at another (even in another State) they will need to create a new dealer profile as dealers can't see outside their designated area; only PNA can do that. So if they claim they don't have a profile on you, just tell them to create a new one and if in doubt to contact PNA CS.
I would mention that at the time of making the first appointment and not when you get there.
