Default Sport Mode

After a software update it seems to me that the engine over run and exhaust crackles are either reduced or at least inconsistent in Sport mode. My recollection was that any time I took my foot off the gas it wouold over run and crackle. Now it does it sometimes with some consistency when driving the car spiritedly. Would appreciate hearing from others about how consistent the over run and exhaust crackles are when driving in Sport mode.

There is a tie in between speed and brake pressure to downshift noises. Even in sport mode at normal speed (low revs) and relaxed braking there is little to none pos etc.

For me it has always been intermittent. It doesn't happen every time I let off the gas, so I don't know what dictates when I will hear a burble and when I won't

What model year do you have Tupper? On my 2021 (the very last built 2021s) my car's burble is virtually unnoticeable in all settings. I feel like I've gotten the weaker updated tune that eliminated most of the drama from the exhaust - and I have PSE.

Have one of the first ‘21s (Responding as well, will be interesting to know what Tupper has) and I feel like it definitely got quieter after the software update and when they replaced the PCM in my car. Changed the character of the car in sport mode and the randomness of when it does it is kind of annoying. When you would expect it nothing and when you wouldn’t it burbles. Really reminds you it is all programming versus mechanical.

Can you expand on the software update? Maybe paste a pic of you version
I don’t think I have any software updates
Mine is an early 21 build and has 2,300 miles and the crackling and exhaust seems to sound deeper and better as the car gets broken in
