the coverage though, is small….you’ll get chips around the stone guards…you’re better off removing them, and having a much larger piece applied if your goal is protection…hope this helps answer your question

I'm on my 3rd 911. I use my cars on all surfaces, rain or shine, road and track. Never had anything on the cars but the factory protection and never felt like I needed it. My last car had 55,000 km on it when I sold it, the current one is just on 9,000 miles and it has 1 micro-chip next to the front badge that you really need to look for to see.
If having the film makes you feel better then go for it. But do you need it? Nope.

I just added a second layer on the factory PPF. That area takes a lot of abuse around here so I figure if I’m still in the car in a couple of years I’ll replace it. But if I had it to do again I’d have covered a larger area, there’s a small stone hit above the PPF.
