thanks im interested in how many hours they are billing for the plugs. I just did a plug change on my DD M2C..just for the hell of it called three dealers for prices and they were $900, $650,and $1250 to replace them . lot of stuff to remove took me three hours and $80 for the plugs. There's a little bit of a learning curve probably could do it again in 2.5 hrs. carl

Hi there, any brake paddle feel change after the fluid change? I tried to do mine with a power bleeder but I'm keep getting a soft paddle. Is there anything special you need to do to bleed/flush the brakes?

Do you ever track your car? Have you ever been up to Watkins Glen for a race/track time?

The scheduled service came in right around $1300 — obviously, your price may vary in your market. Parts cost is relatively cheap, but getting to the plugs is a huge hassle making the 30k oil service priced more like the inspection service. Interestingly, I did notice the ever so slight difference in having a fresh set of plugs. We’ll see how quickly I get to 60k miles.

I am doing a series of longer road trips/adventures for the next few months — as much as 1200-1500 miles per week. At the current rate, I will be at the next service sometime in January. 😂

I haven’t yet. I will eventually get this car to a track. It should be a hoot given how much time I’ve spent behind the wheel.

^ I'm actually jealous of the number of miles you are putting on your car. You are truly enjoying it. There is no better way to enjoy this car than to drive it.

I actually wonder if you have the highest mileage 992 in existence.....

I'm at 21K myself.. 2 schedules and 2 (5K oil changes)... I'm dying to know how the plugs looked? Did they see any carbon buildup? This is a Direct Injected car, so I always worry about that, especially on the valves..

Good to see someone else driving their car and not just looking at it!

Also, any issues with your seats? Leather wrinkles?

I drive mine hard. Plugs were unremarkable when they took them out, but I did notice a little difference with a fresh set of plugs. 👍

Good to see that you’re driving yours as well! Considering that Porsche UK recommends 20,000 mile oil change intervals, 5k is probably overkill, but if it gives you greater comfort, go for it. I suspect that PCNA goes with 10k, because Americans aren’t ready to hear 20k mile intervals.

Again, great that you’re enjoying your car. I responded to the seats on your poll thread. 👍

^ We are kindred spirits, as I drive my car hard as can be as well. I often notice that my cars tend to run smoother after oil changes. My first oil change is this Friday and I’m at 7750 miles right now.

I’m curious to see if I will notice any difference
