I'm getting my 30k mile service done today for my 992 C4S. It's the oil change that includes the spark plugs.
The way I drive this car, I don't expect much carbon build up, but I'm looking forward to that extra 1/2 horsepower from a fresh set of plugs. LOL
While the car is in, I am having the driver's door speaker replaced under warranty -- it's the only warranty squawk for the car since new (June 2019 build). I developed the speaker rattle issue after about 20k miles. I am also doing my winter wheel/tire swap as I will be road-tripping next week to part of the country that's already seeing temps in the 30s.
At my current pace, I'm hitting my scheduled services at six month intervals, which will be just in time to swap back on the summer wheel set. 👍

Don't mind me asking, but how the heck did you already get to 30k miles? I know you did a X-country trip, but other than that I'm trying to understand how your car gets so many miles?

I don't have a commute per se. My office in town is a 5 min walk from my home. My 911 is one of four, soon to be five cars. Given that we can walk to almost everywhere in our small town, driving is almost exclusively recreation for our household.

^ Cool, I'm jealous.
Winding roads are rare around here, and if I want to get away from traffic I need to drive a good while. The farmlands of Wisconsin are pretty nice, although the roads there are mostly straight.

I've done a few big road trips, but the bulk of my miles are playing on winding back roads and mountain roads. I live in the Delaware Valley, in Southeastern Pennsylvania, where we are blessed with some amazing roads to explore. It's unusual for me to head out the garage and not put 100 miles or more on the car. During the peak of the pandemic and lockdown, those amazing drives were like therapy for me -- I did a lot of early morning and evening outings in the car. I love doing a nice big backroad loop through like 4-5 counties.

Actually plugs are not done @ 30K for carbon build up, but for corrosion. Since they are more exposed to the elements than most, they tend to seize up over time and be difficult to get out. Porsche wants you to replace every 4 years or 30K miles because of road salts, etc. Every plug I have ever pulled out of a 911 at 30K miles has been fine on the electrodes, but the base of the plug where the wrench bites is usually showing corrosion after four years.
