Shark blue looks amazing in person on a 911. Pictures don’t do it real justice on the configurators. I was fortunate to see in person in bright light and shade. I’m going with shark blue as soon as I get an allocation.

Like I wasn't confused enough which direction to go with my GTS, now I see this. WOW it reminds me of the b5-b6 nogaro blue.

looks great! Can you post some side profile pictures. Trying to get feel for how the color works on a car without the big aggressive wing!

I agree with this sentiment. I love it on a GT3, but not so much on a normal 992.

I love Shark blue. But I think the non-GT 911 is treated more like a subtle, elegant, car with older more mature buyers. So you tend to see a lot of subtle colors like Gentian Blue and GT silver.

Whereas the 718 and GT3 are more of the “sports cars” of the Porsche lineup. Louder colors on the sports cars seem to work better.

But more power to you if you like SB. I would love to see more shark blue out there!

I have a Boxster GTS in shark blue with body painted rollbars and shark blue interior trim and - shark blue painted wheels. Yep perhaps over the top with the shark blue - but it will be interesting none the less. Blue convertible top as well. This car arrived in San Diego last week and will be delivered at PECLA on November 23rd. Also Chalk interior. Should make an interesting gal’s car for my wife’s 50th birthday. Might have the outside edges of the wheels painted in gold or silver as well - or perhaps have the wheels chromed? Remember chrome wheels?

I should mention I have a 2022 GT4 also in Emden waiting for a ship headed to San Diego.

next post - for pics - hope I like Shark Blue—-

These are mock-ups of the GT4 I will take delivery of around December 15 —- already built and in Emden.

shark blue - speed blue interior stitching with carbon fiber bucket seats - lots of other options bringing the MSRP to over $130,000.

Aurum wheels and shark blue interior trim - always wanted a blue car.

I agree by the way that Sapphire blue is one of the best blue colors and will stand the test of time better than shark blue. Porsche should have kept Sapphire blue as a standard color choice. But I also am not a fan of Gentian Blue which looks black in many light conditions and tends to hide the lines of the car I believe.

my 2021 Targa4 is white with an all Bordeaux red interior and is really spectacular if I must say so myself.

this is my 2021 Targa 4 in Carrera white metallic ($900 extra) and Bordeaux red dipped interior and Bordeaux red top.I really like the interior color- very rich and the Bordeaux red is not as intense as an guards red interior.

livery was made up by a shop I London England with the red color also in Bordeaux red and the white letters are a fine metallic.

I would not waste money on the Carrera white which is pearl paint- but the pearl is so fine that the metallic is only seen in bright bright sunlight. Porsche needs to make the pearl larger particles.

My images of the Boxster GTS and the GT4 are from the porsche configurator which provides a really poor representation of shark blue. I will post some real pictures of the Boxster GTS when delivered in November at PECLA.

That looks superb. I had the last gen GT4 in PTS Voodoo Blue and this reminds me of it.

I ordered my 992S in Shark Blue. After seeing the color in person, I knew it was what I wanted. I didn't want to do just another grey/black/white, and SB in person is just amazing. I agree that it's similar to what you'd see on a Ford or whatever, but that doesn't matter to me.

agree it doesn’t matter to me it’s a 911 so it’s special regardless, I plan on ordering shark blue as well if I ever get my allocation
