M-Engineering - ProTune with Pure Turbos Upgrade on 992 Base
M-Engineering completed our first ProTune on a 992 Carrera with a Pure Turbos turbocharger upgrade. We were really impressed by the power gains this platform presents and we can't wait to see what comes next!

Such gains suit an all wheel drive Carrera. 600 HP and almost 500ft-lbs of torque driving only the rear wheels will get most people in trouble at some point.

It is a 2021 991 TARGA 4
it is beyond my expectation that the car can push over 600WHP.
Although the car has tremendous power. it feels very linear and drives like a stock car in regular driving situations.
There is no torque bump like Tuned BMW M3 M4 Engine. It contains 100% drivability of an OEM 911. until you floor it and RPM pass 4-5K RPM,
It starts to push really hard, that is how this car should be. Before the big turbo, the OEM turbo is kind of small so the power and torque actually drop after 6K rpm and feels weak at redline.
Now, it is a proper supercar powerband, linear, and delivery max power at redline.
I am 100% satisfied with the result.
The mod list is:
ECU TUNE
PURE TURBO
AKRAPOVIC CATBACK EXHAUST
RADIATOR AND CAT ARE OEM.
HIGH-FLOW CATS ARE TOO LOUD FOR ME SO I JUST USE MY STOCK CAT.
I DIDN'T HAVE ANY TEST RESULTS ON ACCELERATION.
HOWEVER, THERE IS A VIDEO OF 992 TARGA 4S WITH A BIGGER TURBO BY 9FF DOING 0-60 IN 2.77S AND 1/4 MILE IN 10.28 AS A REFERENCE https://photos.smugmug.com/Cars/PERS...19917-1920.mp4

Awesome car & wicked numbers.
We are very pleased with these numbers especially on 91 gas. The numbers on a C2S will be essentially identical if you were to put these turbos on the car.

will this be available for the c2s im really interested , also the numbers on c2s wont be any higher ? or with meth kit + any pricing for the full package

Not the expert but the base and S are the same motor, S just has bigger turbos, probably similar to the GTS has bigger turbo's than the S. so makes sense the base and S would make same output with the same Pure turbo's

Correct, identical motors, different turbochargers on each model.
