Which means you really don't want the GTS. It's already been proven by the anti-GTS crowd that the slightly boosted engine, brakes, and badge aren't worth it, let alone the included options that no one wants.

Yeah its why I'm in cue for a Targa4s. I actually love the GTS interior, added power and some of the unique touches... and I forgot to mention that if they put lower factory suspension on the Targa GTS I'd suck up the stuff I don't like and go that route anyways because I don't love the T4S ride height and wish I could get SPASM on it. Pity that it doesn't get the same suspension set up.

So yeah... I want to want the GTS but it isn't the car for me in Targa form. If I was buying a coupe and going full sporty look I'd likely be a GTS buyer but I want a targa, won't track the car more than maybe once or twice, and want a certain look out of it. (although I still think the targaGTS is awesome)

Yeah I hear you, with the Targa GTS and 4S sharing the same suspension set up, it takes away one of the selling points of the GTS "package." That said, there is still a lot to the Targa GTS and it's not like the suspension will be lacking in anyway. I was highly considering a Targa 4S a while back - IIRC, I think maybe we were speaking to the same dealer? However, after a few drives with the pano roof wide open on sunny LA days, the wife and I decided we didn't like the sun beating down on us and thus, wouldn't appreciate it enough. I still admire the Targas and may drool a bit each time I see one...
