Can anyone confirm or deny this? I specifically chose the glass sunroof for the blacked out roof effect as I imagine others did as well.

I'm not sure where that poster got that information. I'd like to see some proof... that would be an odd thing for them to change.

If you go through the "waiting room" thread, there are lots of people posting the photos of their cars at the factory just before completion. One of the angles clearly shows the roof. On glass roof cars there is white protective film covering the panels in front of and behind the glass that you are now saying may be painted.

See my post several later. I can't confirm this and have not heard of anyone getting a glass roof with the fore and aft panels in body color rather than black. I do not think this was changed. AFAIK, those panels are done with the glass roof in such a way that inserting body panels would be more difficult and require a fair amount of redesign, something unlikely for a model year change.

Got my 2022 with glass sunroof and its all black from front to rear glass.

Hi. I posted the thing about the painted roof panels in glass sunroof cars. Looks like I was wrong as there are pictures of 2022s with a full black roof. That’s a good thing because it looks better with the full black roof than body colored panels. When 2022 configuration came out, the painted roof panels was one obvious change from 2021 but looks like it’s been fixed. I stand corrected.
