Default Advice on build

Hello!

I am configuring my first ever Porsche and having a hard time deciding on 2 drafts of my build.

Options I have finalized

Base 911
19/20 Carrera Wheels
Aventurine Green
Sports Chrono
LCA
Extended Fuel Tank
GT Steering Wheel
Ambient Light

2 configurations I am deciding on to finalize my build.

Config A
--14 way seats
--Leather interior with Iceland Green

Config B
--18 way seats
--Standard interior/Leather seats i.c.w Sports seats Plus in Mojave Beige (this will upgrade the front seats to smooth leather from Embossed leather but otherwise mostly the same from standard interior)
--PSE

Both config will be roughly the same price.

I appreciate your feedback!

Config A. I love 18 ways, but that interior config is more special.

I suggest you try both seat types and make the determination based on which you find fit you better. I was thinking 18 way, but after a side by side comparison, found 14 way the better fit.

I agree with this, but it is much easier said than done in the current environment where there is no stock at the dealerships.

That's right! Unfortunately, it's difficult to get any seat time right now. But I appreciate your advice and feedback! 👍

If resale matters I would go with configuration A. Even though I didn’t order a full leather interior on my car Carrera S manual I do believe it helps resale in a highly competitive market. Right now is not a highly competitive market pretty much anything sells for top dollar. But the market will rebalance at some point then buyers will become pickier . Carl

Thanks Carl. Did you go with standard interior? How are you liking it?

I did a drivers build didn’t really want to spend a lot of money on anything that didn’t make a difference in the way the car dries. I did a Carrera S manual , SPASM ,FAL,,four-way sport seats. I did the gray Standard-interior.and spent 1200 for the aluminumTrim which is a rip off but It did brighten up the interior. I really like it. Carl
