Default Anybody With Big Feet and Manual?

My size 14 foot doesn't fit in the foot box which makes engaging the clutch a little more difficult in this car. I can do it but my foot is hitting stuff underneath. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution that doesn't involve cutting off my toes?

Size 13 here. Definitely find my toes getting caught on the bottom part of the dash at times. I don't have a great solution unfortunately but subscribing to the thread hoping someone else does

I have size 12s and it’s a problem in my 993. I have to wear narrow Converse Chuck Taylors to drive that car.

driving shoes are narrower but not shorter. The length is the problem not the width. And I don’t want to wear special shoes just to drive the dam car. I have driving shoes I use at the track that makes heal toe easier but I just want to go to the gym without having to wear special shoes

Could the alternate title to this be "Anybody with big crotch and LWBS"?

Size 13 and I drive a 992 MT. No issues with toe catching. But I do notice some of my running shoes with generous cushioning are a little wide and will graze the brake pedal from time to time. Not a big deal, just need to be more deliberate and precise when engaging the clutch with some of my sneakers.

Driving shoes will be smaller all around. Thinner sole, and the smaller heel cup than a training shoe, would lower the foot closer to the floor. But if you already tried some, and or not willing to make that switch, then yeah, no joy. FWIW, not all driving shoes are the same.

992 MT Size 14 here, I generally were thin soled shoes, not actual driving shoes but similar in design. I’ve had no issues at all.

Size 13 and I haven't noticed a problem personally but I also tend to angle my feet a bit to get more room (a habit learned from the tiny pedal box of my F355).

Yup! 13 EEEE. I have driven manual Porsche sports cars since 1970. But my 2015 911 C2S 7 spd manual was my first and last Push 7 speed manual. It sucks, with to many overdrive gears, wide ratios, and too easy to downshift from 5th to 2nd when aiming for 4th. Pittsburgh is now blowing to the Greenies, and the regular production sports cars with
manual transmissions are exhibit A for that.
From now on, I'm shifting my Porsche Sports cars with my fingertips, instead of my right elbow and left knee. It's so much faster and more convenient, I'm never looking back again. Unless they offer the close ratio manual of the GT3 in the street 911s.
Not likely, with all the bowing and kneeling b4 the Greenies that is happening nowadays.
