Thank you for the kind words! We certainly do love the Polish Angel line, Cosmic in particular. Such delicious results and so very easy (and fun) to use!

My personal car, a 981 Agate Gray Cayman w full PPF, gets the PA High Gloss as it accentuates the somewhat subdued color a bit more than the deeper shine of Cosmic but w Polish Angel, it's really an embarrassment of riches.

Salesman are really good at making you "feel bad" and splurging on unnecessary things. I need to constantly remind myself that I'm ALREADY handing them thousands of dollars. However much of a cut they get is not my issue, I've done enough for this goddamn economy.
You need a new dealer. I've not worked with a dealer in the last 15 years that ever made me feel bad about my choices. My current Porsche dealer of course offered it, but that was it - no push for it whatsoever. I hate dealers that pull that pushy chit...

Yeah, I'm actually only dealing with this dealer because the car is a gift for my dad in Toronto.

I live in Vancouver myself, and would definitely be a lot pickier if it's someone I'll be dealing with on a long term basis.

That's also why I'm telling my dad to move over here when he retires next year, so I don't have to keep flying back for the holidays!

Been doing my own Ceramic coating for years. Better results/better chemistry and easier applications have been greatly improved over the years. Simple prep and a few hours can save you literally $thousands….but that is just me. Lots of great detailing videos on YouTube. My fave is “Pan the Organizer” ( Canada ) who just took delivery of a 992 AV Green Turbo S….

For me Porsche of Naples is crazy high for labor on just ok service. Like the team there but just don’t do my regular service there but treats are good. I use Debold in Bonita.
Join the Paradise Gruppe if you are down here. Really good Porsche club with tons of activities and really nice people. A lot of synergy with the PClub here also. See you on 5th.

Never take any car to a car wash that uses brushes unless you want scratch and swirl marks on it. The touchless are better but if they have people that use towels to dry it then again you are going to get swirls. If they drop their drying towel on the ground they pick it up and use again. Any dirt or sand on the ground then gets rubbed on your car. I live in a condo and thus cannot wash in the garage so I take it a do it your self high pressure spray wand place and wash it myself. If it has dirt stuck on it then I use the two bucket wash system and then spray it off with the high pressure spray. I bought a leaf blower and dry it o, which does much better than hand drying with towel. On my last car I used towels but when I got home water had dripped from all crevices in the car and there would be water spots everywhere so I had to go over it again., With the leaf blower all that water is blown away. If I had a garage or available electrical outputs then I would use one of the made for car air blowers to dry it. The leaf blower is big and you have to recharge the battery but still better than towels.

This is why I will never again own a black car. I LOVE black, but am way too OCD to own a black car again. Black paint has zero forgiveness and swirls are lurking around every corner. Silvers and greys (and I hope Chalk) a bit less so.

With a full SunTek wrap and complete ceramic coating, it was advised that I occaisionally protect the ceramic coating with a special product.

Thanks for the advice and experience.

I've seen the Paradise Gruppe at the Cars and Coffee 239 events and will look into them when the car shows up...actually looking forward to some fun with that!

Yessir...I'll keep an eye out!
