It never was very accurate sometimes it would show you the oils low when it was full. Maybe they just gave up on it? Carl

Mine's gone too. Here's one for you though that you might have seen where the tire pressures show up accurate to the tenth of a pound.
Happened to me once and then the next time I used the app it was gone. Guess they were trying it out.
PORSCHE! Bring that back! It was awesome!

Don't they just use the same data that you see in the car?

I noticed this as well. It seldom matched the actual level on the dash display.

Mine is gone too. As opposed to other’s experience here, my car readout and app matched. I guess it doesn’t matter as long as the car displays the information. After my first 6,000 kms, I just got a display notification telling me to “add up to 1L of oil”.

You needed to add 1L of oil after just 6,000kms? Your first 6,000kms?

Mine would vary quite a bit. I suspect it's a function of when the Porsche Connect algorithm would query the car's dB or when the cars algorithm would refresh the file Porsche Connect addressed for this information. If this happens when the engine is running, I'd imagine the oil level would appear lower than it actually was. If it read the level with the ignition on but the engine off (as the owners manual describes), then the level would probably be quite different. If the existing process had folks adding oil when none was needed, I'd imagine that would be sufficient motivation for Porsche to shut this feature off in Porsche Connect. The "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it . . . " solution to the problem at hand.

I send an E-Mail message to Porsche Connect about a week ago concerning this problem using their message utility. Not even the courtesy of a simple reply.

My guess is that they just removed it from the app because it had accuracy issues. I have three cars that use the feature, and usually the oil level shown in the app was accurate, but every once in a while it would show very, very low. First few times that happened I checked the car and all was fine. So had been completely ignoring that feature lately anyway.
