Hech, waiting 5 months for my order and delivery is terrible enough, i can't imagine waiting 2+ years.
Life is too short, drive while you still can.

Buyers remorse goes away each time you turn the ignition and back out of the garage.

Aside from body tweaks that only a Porschephile would pick up on and model identifiers on dash, door sill, headrest and deck lid, there’s nothing much to distinguish them from regular 911s.

If you already had a 40th and a 50th, adding a 60th to the collection would be way cool…otherwise just snag a production 992 configured the way you like it.

I disagree slightly on the 991.1 50th. It was admittedly a GTS body and engine. But the styling was unique and it was almost impossible to configure a normal 991 with those paint and interior options. You couldn’t get the green tach for love nor money, and the PTS paint and interior would have driven the price beyond the 50th price. In fact I think Porsche was denying PTS in two of the three colors at the time.

The link to pricing is slightly deceptive (not on your part). Only 17 sold in the last 5 years so the average is skewed by a small sample size. 7 in the last year and one went for $30K over. The car is now 7 years old and the sales four years after release were at or over MSRP. It was a numbered car, but it’s not a GT3 Touring. It’s one similarity is people keep them.
