They have 2495.00 listed on their site. I "think" it use to be 2900. I could be wrong though.

That is a good price! Curious if they have tested this on a Manual Transmission, or is this only for PDK (due to the power increase).

How (if at all) different are the Turbo S and the regular CS PDK transmissions? If they are the same then the extra power should be no worries at all on the driveline.

^ This is my concern as well.

A tune to 600 hp (which is still Stage 1!) is quite a major boost. I am just wondering if the car can handle that. I always envisioned, if getting a tune, to do something lighter than that like a bump to around 510 hp or so...

$2900 was for physical bench flashing, more involved and time consuming so makes perfect sense for that higher price vs obd tuning.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard the new 8 speed pdk was designed to later include hybrid electric so it should be more than capable in regards to handling a tune.

Do you have an E.O. # and/or does a re-flash back to stock retain/reinstate the codes the new California Smog Check looks for?

Don't you just flash back to stock and get the smog? Because I thought the smog check only checked for factory tune. Because if they are checking the flash counter. How they do they know if the dealer flashed the car or not? BMW use to flash cars with updated tunes. And Im pretty sure those flashes were counted on the flash counter? I dont know. Im just asking.

It's the way the Smog Check System checks and verifies the OEM program. The SMOG Check System looks for two different internal codes within the ECU to verify that the software has not been changed. As long as this company's re-flash doesn't change these codes -OR- if they've managed to get an E.O # from CARB all is good.

"The gathered information includes CAL-ID (equivalent to a file name), CVN (equivalent to a checksum), EO status, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This accumulated data is the basis upon which failure criteria will be determined."

It used to be that the manual and the PDK were essentially the same transmissions with the only difference being a manually operated clutch. I'm not sure about the 992 since one is a 7 speed and the other is an 8 speed. Hopefully the tune will work well for both and the rev limiter for burnouts will be raised!

I heard this as well and is capable of taking 1K Newton Meters of Torque.

Yes. @M Engineering - Is the tune available for manual transmission cars and is it possible to raise the rev limit when the car is in neutral to allow us to rev the engine higher than 3500 RPMs and also launch the car off the line at higher RPMs?

Did those numbers come from any additional mods?

And If you already have sports cats or catless without a tune, will this tune accommodate for that, or sort of work alongside with those upgrades?
