All 2021 used 4S's are between 164K and 180K in my neck of the woods...

They announced that it is unlikely that there will be a 2022 model year for the car because of emissions of the v8 or something and the market has gone nutzo. For various reasons I called 10 different dealers and offered them $30k over msrp for a g63 and all 10 basically told me to go pound sand. One was willing to to do 50k over msrp and the rest were 60-100.

Colorado. This is out of a dealer down in the Springs. They've got quite the selection, while the 2 Denver dealers have a couple 911s between them total.

An 18k markup on a Kia Telluride, which is required for a test drive. I mean .. a ******* Kia ... to test drive!

I'll one up you. How about a 2015 Base Carrera (literally with zero options) with one accident claim going for 12k over MSRP?

Kia dealers were running hard credit checks to let you test drive the Stinger when they were hot.

New Escalades are going for $30k over here. And those tank in depreciation (pre-pandemic).

There are MSRP allocations still to be had though. I just got one for a C2S Cab and I am a first time Porsche customer (coming from a range of BMWs). It took 3 months from a V0170 to V200 and I shopped around a bit, but it is possible.

Now, if you need immediate gratification, you will pay for that.

Reading this thread sucks. My wife's lease ends in a couple of months, and she just backed into and hit my secondary (to the 911) ride in the rear quarter panel. So now I need two "normal" cars. But not at these ridiculous prices...

Is this normal?
This is normal right now, and even a low markup if talking models like 992 911 Turbo and Turbo S.
So I bought a gorgeous hard loaded 1-Owner CPO Macan Turbo with 35k miles for less than half MSRP, to tide me over till i can get a custom order 992 GTS or Turbo S at sticker. I have a while to decide WHICH 992.
A couple dealers have said they can get me an order at sticker next year, for late 2022 or early 2023 delivery, at MSRP. They could lock me in late this Winter or early Spring.
So now I have a decent Porsche to tide me over till I can get my dream 992.

Lucking my wife's 2015 Macan S has just under 40k miles and she is working from home so much that that number really isn't going up much. We'll be able to make it (fingers crossed) till the Macan EV comes out to replace it. She wants an SUV otherwise a Taycan would be an option.

To Kia Sales Manager:

"Watch me as I walk out the door." That is what I told a Nissan dealership owner in 2004 when he said "I can get you a 350Z 'vert but can't guarantee color/trim/tranny for $6K over MSRP." I found it on eBay, paid $1K over as a donation to Muscular Dystrophy and had exactly what I wanted 1 week later.
