The lift points on the rear side seems to be a really tight fit with the GT3 side skirt (at least for me), anyone else run into this? Makes the rear screws really hard to line up. The Suncoast video has red lift points on their vehicle which look smaller, mine are silverey and larger I think.

Nice !
did you install these with the car on the ground? Can that be done or do you need to raise the car ?

It can be done on the ground, but I put the 2 fronts on a piece of wood, and it worked just fine. I also used a power rachet to reach, since my torx screwdrivers are quite long.

I also just rolled it up on couple of 2x6 (one first and then double). Be sure to read about making sure that the large round tabs actually make a "click" when you insert them (previous reply #498 in this thread). If they don't, you have to align the skirt correctly.

Question on side skirts. Have a GTS on order and optioned color matched sports side skirts. Only recently started second guessing those after seeing the GT3 skirts in person. Not looking to change my order (have 14 days before lock), and think color matched give a great stance vs. stock. However, I am debating ordering the GT3 SS also and see what I prefer when here (not concerned about option prices).
With that thought, does anything know if sports side skirts (color matched or matte black) remove in the same way as the stock trim? My assumption is the mounting points are all the same whether you have stock, sports side skirts, or GT3 side skirts (this thread confirms stock and GT3).

I would guess yes also since there are many GTS cars with the GT3 added...see this pic thread

I finally installed mine, the rear jack points made it impossible to align the pop-in tab/screw things though and I ended up cutting away part of the plastic on the skirt.
Took me about 50m to get the first side in, minus one pop-in screw (it was physically impossible, see the bulge in the pic below). After cutting, I was able to install the other side in 15m. Then I took off the first side, cut it, and finished re-installing it in 10m.
1) Have a trim tool (or ruler)
2) Have someone (or use an object) prop up the front tire side. Make sure it's above the wheel well cover thingy.
3) Make sure all the white tabs are facing outwards correctly
4) Get the rear-side properly aligned. I used a ruler to make it easier for the skirt to go under the car underbody. Push in the rear side
5) Work one at a time towards the front and push it in
6) Starting from the front and working backwards, use a trim tool to make sure the skirt is inside (on top) of the underbody covering. At the same time, align each white tab and insert the black screw things
7) Re-screw the T20 and T30 screws, they should fit perfectly as long as step 6 is done correctly.
Step 4 was probably the hardest part for me. A looooooot easier after using a ruler to get the skirt to go in on top of the underbody covering. All done without jacks.

I keep debating if this is something I want to install. It almost looks like running boards, so I really need to see it in person. I also noticed that in many pictures it looks like it doesn’t match up at the rear correctly; like there’s a gap. Is that the case or is it just an optical illusion from the angle some pictures are taken?

Mine are painted to match the gloss pack.
