My '22 992 is scheduled to arrive 11/28. I received an email this past Friday from Atlanta PEC who informed me they will be scheduling my pick up at Atlanta PEC for mid December.
I would appreciate anyone who has done the PEC delivery if you can bring me up to speed on any surprises and what I should expect.
I live in Ga and I only have an hours drive from the center to get home after the on track experience and delivery.
You can do morning or afternoon. I chose morning, so I could relax at the great lunch and wine after everything. You can bring someone with you for the lunch and presentation.
Lots of surprises, but why spoil them?
I chose morning also since I wanted to get the driving experience part done, then eat and relax after - didnt want to eat before. Also really didnt want to put up with traffic at 5.30/6PM.
Not going to share much, but, someone else can do part of the driving experience if they are over 21. If not, the instructor may take then out for a professional lap or two.
The instructor was in the car with me - not a lead, follow scenario which is what I was expecting - which was much, much, much better.
Oh yeah, enjoy the butter and salt (hail stones as my son said) on the bread

Try to take it all in and enjoy it! I did afternoon and got to relax in the morning and watch the track from our track view suite across the street.
Lunch is delicious! Museum tour was great including our delivery guy letting us inside all the roped off areas. 90min track time was great. As a novice I learned a lot. By the end I was hammering around the track as the car builds confidence quickly. The delivery is a whole shoe. Car is covered and when you say go they pull the cover back. Then spend the next hour going over features and setting up Bluetooth etc. I used tracwrap and drove 500 miles home after without stopping.
They also give you a bunch of freebies and gifts. Your window sticker will show PEC as your dealer, not the dealer you bought from. A sticker on the windshield has your delivery number. I took Mine off and saved it when I had the windshield tinted.
