This looks like a Turbo S without the side intakes. It has the Turbo front and rear fascias and even the Turbo PCCBs (10 piston fronts instead of 6 piston fronts). I wonder if it might have a Turbo engine (maybe slightly detuned for the lack of side intakes).

Haha doubt we will . The 997SC is a numbered car (250 total), and I expect the 992SC to be limited too.

Front and rear fascias, yes, but I doubt that it's the Turbo engine. Those intakes on the TT/TTS are necessary.
I would guess that it gets the GTS motor. Basically, a GTS with Turbo aesthetics and the ducktail.

Probably right. If they make this a true limited edition (ie 911 cars or something) then I could see them putting in a GT3 motor. No way do I see a TTS motor in this because the car’s air intakes are built into the fender. It needs those.

ADMs would probably be +$200k on a car with a GT3 motor.

That said, the old 997 Sport Classic (which is one of my favorite looking 911 special editions) had nothing different under the hood and still sells for a fortune.

Porsche will do nothing that confuses its well nurtured GT line- or market- with anything else.

A tell tale sign that it’s not the GT NA motor are the slats on the rear deck lid that feed the inter coolers like every other Carrera (Base/S/GTS).

Look at how the lower side trim spoiler meets the rear fender. It may not be a TT or a TTS but it sure does have the wider rear end they come with. I had to walk out in my garage just to double check by looking at my C2S. This prototype sure is a good bit wider in the rear than my 911.

No question this one has the TT/TTS shell. It’s all just looks.

The 993 C4S had a Turbo body and turbo big red brakes and suspension, but the engine was the same as the regular Carrera. I wonder if this could be the same.
