+1…enjoyment for you during ownership, and something well-cared-for to offer the next owner…I’d pay asking price for a used car when compared to others that may have normal wear/tear

How much less does one get on trade with a few expected paint chips. You or your dealer can get these fixed dirt cheap, obviously your dealer pays even less. I would just leave the plastic on unless it is all beat up. Either way there is very minimal if any effect on resale value.

I did PPF for me, and as to re-sale, the car will be handed down to my son when I pass on (hopefully in 30+ years)..

"A few expected paint chips" ??? Sorry pal, not here in New Jersey. I intend to drive my car several thousand miles a year and it's a guarantee that the front will be sand blasted without protection. I have hands-on experience with automotive paint in the past and there is no way paint chips can truly be repaired. A body panel repaint is the only option.

Maybe where you are, roads are more kind...

I can also confirm for the OP that it is virtually unnoticeable and did not dull my paint at all!
XPEL: The only thing that was not done on my was the headlights... do you recommend the product for headlights on 992? I know the 991 I was told the headlights do not hold up well having it on there. Has this changed?

Thank you for choosing XPEL! We can apply PPF to headlights, and is included in the full-front package. However some car manufacturers do not recommend it.

Sounds like you should move here to FL.

Well good luck man, hope you get here soon or when it is appropriate for you folks. Moved here permanently 3 years ago and have never regretted it for one minute. I wake up every morning and see a zillion palm trees Estero Bay, Gulf Keys, and a sunset to die for nearly every night.

Sounds beautiful!

We will probably go to the the Longboat Key area in September and explore the Gulf side going south. Not going to buy anything in this frothy market though. Maybe next year.

Have had some great trips through Florida, including a memorable trip down to Key West. One day soon.....
