Hi @Dan006 - I do and thought about that being the culprit at first, but it thinks something (insert gasp of horror here) inside is moving.

Thank you! Turns out my ODB2 reader was the culprit for me too 🙏

This was happening for a few days minutes after parking in my garage. I guessed that the sunlight shining through the garage door windows, at a particular time of day, were hitting the inside of my 992 in just the right way to set off the motion detection. I don't think I ever found the answer and just parked at a slightly different angle,

Remember you can also lock your can using the lock button on the remote or comfort access sensor, and disable the interior motion sensor, by pressing twice within 2 sec. The emergency flasher lights up for one long second to confirm that the interior motion sensor is now disabled. I also did this for a while when my garaged car's alarm kept going off because it detected motion.

Glad I found this thread! This randomly started happening to me, super embarrassing when the local restaurant owners know my car and have had to come get me multiple times out of the blue 30 seconds after I arrive.
I recently added an OBDII for the TrackAddict extra functions (throttle, brake, gear, rpm).
I just pulled the OBD after finding this thread. Really hoping that was the issue. Which the timeline matches, so it should.

Did removing your OBD device fix your problem? I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue on my Cayenne, with limited info, som here. I'm assuming from experience posted here, any power that is fed back into the OBD system can cause the Porsche's alarm to go off.

Yes, pulling the OBDII scan plug from the car completely solved my issue immediately.

Great to know, thanks for your reply! Hoping the issue I have is rectified similarly to what you experienced with your OBD device.

Quick Reply: Alarm goes off for no reason after I lock the doors and walk away.
