If that's accurate, it's definitely not the whole truth. My car finished production in early March and was outfitted with the electric adjustment. Like the other poster who recently picked up a car with the motorized adjuster, I also ticked the box for the leather-wrapped steering column, so if others aren't getting the electronic column maybe that's the trick?
They made it sound like it was a very recent development, and they had no reason to lie to me. It actually just came up in conversation as we were watching a GT3 Touring be prepped for delivery in the showroom (minor finishing touches). But I also got the feeling that they weren't 100% sure. Either way, if I were ordering one today, I'd definitely go with the leather column casing again both because I like it and I do suspect that it might increase the odds of having the car arrive with electronic adjustment.

My 22 Cabriolet S was supposedly January production but built in March. My SA informed me verbally that electric steering adjust is no more and there will be no retrofit.
Car arrives in about 2 weeks. I did order the steering wheel column in leather which you mentioned (and deviated stitching) so really hoping my car has the electric steering adjust. It’s the main reason I ordered the 14-way seats!
I got an allocation last week - 4GTS, July build, fall delivery - and when I went in to put my deposit down, was told I would get a manual steering column.column.
The manual adjustment is awesome - takes 2 seconds to get your wheel exactly where you want it vs the agonizingly slow electric motor adjustment. Don't be so spoiled people!
How is it being spoiled to expect to receive the options you selected and paid for. Just because you don’t think it is better? What if I ordered a PTS blue that was no longer available - would it be okay for them to give me a Gentian Blue car and $200 voucher? What about selecting 14 way seats because I want the power fold mirrors and having them deliver the car without the power fold mirrors. Am I spoiled because I want the feature of the mirrors that I paid more for?
I haven't received anything formally from Porsche. I was told by the dealer early last month that Porsche will not be updating steering rack to power as they previously had promised. They had some sort of letter from Porsche. I posted in a separate thread in here somewhere.
I got the as-ordered motorized steering column, and did *not* tick the box for the leather steering column.
Me too my GTS was produced in January and delivered to me March 31. Also got 2 keys and a printed owner’s manual I’ve read cover to cover. Michelin tires too.

Any news if power adjust steering is now back with the 14-way and 18-way seat options for MY2024?
The Carrera configurator language still doesn’t mention the power steering column for MY2024 (while the Turbo configurator language does), so I wouldn’t hold my breath. Looks like they just decontented it from the Carrera models entirely from MY2023 onward.
