In the current environment, leases will definitely have positive equity at end of lease, Porsche is very conservative with residuals and sets them low in normal times. This is not normal times and with scarcity of cars, they are holding value better than ever if not going up. Buyout the lease, sell the car back to dealer, pocket the equity or roll it into the new car.

I experienced PSE for the first time in my '20 Macan GTS, but have no experience with SC.

If you have to choose, take the SC. The second owner can always add an after-market exhaust, but you can't retrofit a SC package.
