Welcome to the forum. Glad to have new members and fresh thoughts and ideas. You might be mistaken about your assumption about mod and tune “pushback” on this forum. I have been an older member of the forum for many years and have done numerous mods. I think most members here have modded their cars to meet personal tastes…..just a question of to what extent. I encourage to search some of the older threads involving the following group buys and discussions and look at their length: Cargraphic controller, JCR exhaust, Flat 6 Motorsports exhaust thread, Soul cats and exhaust, GT3 side spoilers, ducktail and aero upgrades, Numeric shifter, etc. But every mod is not for every member. I personally do not see a “pushback” on tuning although I do see some valid debate. I think there are three groups : 1.) cats and tune now; 2.) cats and tune when factory warranty expires and 3.) no cats/tune. #1 and #2 are a large group. Charles at M Engineering is an active forum member and extremely helpful as is John Gaydos at Soul, Stef @ Europipe, Jon at Flat 6 Motorsports, Jonny at JCR and our friends at Supreme Power. But even our members in #3 are still modding their cars in other areas I think. Anyway, welcome to the forum.

68 here with a C4GTS. Like RG88, my first by virtue of an allocation shepherded through by a fantastic local SA. I now understand the Porsche attraction. Fantastic machine.

Respectfully disagree. Not saying all older people are against mods or tunes, I never make blanket statements like that. But I have been modding cars for a very long time, started with Hondas when I was 15, then BMW, then AUDI, pushing them as hard as they could go. I recently got the Porsche bug at 45 years old and immediately joined this forum. My 992 is fully modded, very little left to do. My initial posts were filled with much hate, concerns about warranties, etc. I was in shock to be honest. But after looking through this average age post it makes sense.

I read your entire post and enjoyed it. There were a handful of extreme comments going BOTH ways I might add…….which I expect. But, my overall reading of your thread was most members were very supportive of your long list of mods. “Go big or go home”. It is your car, you should mod it how you want. Many are not going to upgrade to Pure turbos and CSF intercooler on an 992S, ever, let alone immediately, but most forum members are cool with you doing you. I was impressed with your dyno results too. So, keep it going and keep the updates coming. I think we all mod our cars just to different extent for differing tastes. Welcome to the forum. You are expanding everyone’s knowledge with your upgrades.

39, currently on second 911, but first 911 bought new (both T's)
Fourth Porsche (Panamera eHybrid (used, for wife) and Taycan (new) were the others).
I think I'm on my 20th car purchase, it's a problem... I keep telling myself a GT3 Touring and then I'm done
