Track tires
Here's a subject I couldn't find any info on. What tires for track is everybody running? After four track days with the factory tires, I'm looking for options.
Thanks!

I am in the same boat. Tire Rack shows only these are available for track use for my 992 S2. I do not think Hoosiers would work well without other modifications including a track specific alignment with much more negative camber. That would compromise street driving too much for me. I am considering a second set of wheels for use with these tires for DE to keep my street wheels pristine.
The MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 Connect (240) is Michelin's connected Extreme Performance Summer tire developed to help drivers maximize their vehicles' on-track performance and lower lap times. Designed as one component of the Track Connect® system, MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 Connect (240) tires accept a special sensor that relays tire temperature and pressure information to a console-mounted receiver. Using this information, the Track Connect® app provides personalized inflation recommendations and adjustments based on the track, vehicle, ambient weather conditions and driving style. It's like having a personal Michelin tire engineer with you every time you go to the track. Like all summer tires, the MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 Connect (240) is not intended to be stored, serviced, nor driven in near-freezing temperatures, through slush, snow or on ice.

Cup2s, nearly 2 years. Had it fit 3 in my 991.2. Drive it in town and track. Swap for snows in my area. It's not the bugaboo in the rain, just don't abuse it.
Do not mix connect with the regular cup2. They have different wear rates. Accordingly tire rack specialist, they should not be mixed. Watch your temps and you're up for a fun ride.

Tracked a C2S with both Goodyears (OEM) and Cup 2s.
Both are fine. Cup 2s cycle out pretty quick tho.

Thanks for the responses.
I can't fin Cup 2S, only Cup 2 so I'll assume it's the same. I'll try these 245/315 (I don't see factory size 305)
