Why not have the dealer you bought it from contact the dealer in Singapore via Porsche CS?

Unfortunately the dealer in Singapore insist that we get our car adopted by them.

Its ridiculous that i have to be force to buy from them and pay the fee of SGD 12 K which works out to USD 8K excluding the key .

I needed a second key made. The dealer messed up and created the new key on the key that I arrived the car on instead the new one they ordered. When I was leaving, I asked for the second key I used and they asked "what second key?"; well, the one I used to drive here. Long story short, they needed to do it again but their communication with Germany was down. So I learned that by regular means one needs the PIWIS and a specific login to code key fobs, not all techs have it. You can re-code key fobs to different cars, up to 9 per car.
There's probably someone somewhere that can do this, it's all computers after all. Find the prior owner or even the insurance company, you might have tried it already, perhaps involve a finders fee.
Hi John,
yes I was trying to find the owner but I don't have access to the UK Porsche club . I was hoping that i am able to locate the owner as the key is of no use to him .

With the PIWIS , we can program the car ? any companies you know in the states or anywhere else that does this .

As you mentioned its computers , someone must had jailbreak the keys.

Any idea if the keys of the 992 is the same as the cayenne . Macan ( YOM 2020 )

I appreciate your time .

Stay safe All

Don't you know anyone in the UK who could find that out for you?
