Aftermarket wheel / offset/ suspension thread

Those look good, but they do not look as refined as the ANRKY S3-X4 or AL13 R60 rims. In particular, the spokes look noticeably thicker and they aren't multi-piece. Nothing wrong with that, but not the look I'm going for. Thanks.

I had not heard about AL13 rims until recently. How do they compare in quality to HREs, ANRKY, BBS, etc.?
I was looking at these AL13 R60 rims which are similar to ANRKY S3-X4 rims. Are they similar in price and build quality? Or is one better than the other?

AL13 has been around for for close to a decade now. Over the last few years they had our attention by creating some cool styles but for us, wheels have the have a great quality to back up the looks. Last year we had them send us a variety of different models to examine the quality and test the durability and we were thoroughly impressed with everything. We decided to bring them into our portfolio and after we showcased a few builds to our clients they popularity expanded rapidly. They're now one of our best sellers among all the other quality wheel brands.
From a quality perspective, HRE and BBS will always be 1a and 1b. Both are legends in the wheel industry dating back to the 70's. HRE manufactures wheels for ANRKY so their superb wheel quality is shared. AL13 is just under this tier but above other major wheel players.
Wheels are either forged or cast. Many manufacturers create catchy marketing names to help increase their cast wheel sales. I will not specifically call out any wheel brand in public. Just be sure to do your own research before making a purchase. Lean on the expertise of someone who knows the ins & outs of the wheel industry. I am always here to help provide information to those who want/need it.

Stunning, I have yet to see a photo of this wheel on a 992 that I don't love. What color centers on this set -- satin silver or something else? Seriously considering these wheels for my GTS, but they aren't cheap!

The wheel finish on these centers is called Frozen Polished Clear. Basically, the faces come out of machining and then go into a big tub with ceramic pebbles that will mirror polish the aluminum. It then goes to powdercoating for a satin clearcoat.
HRE's aren't cheap but they're much cheaper than a 992 GTS. And, you'll never have to buy another set for this car. Worth every dollar. Let us know if you'd like help in ordering.

Btw, I see most of your custom wheel setups are 21/22" - any reason why? I does look pretty good for the most part but I think it depends on wheel design or it may make it look a bit too big (matchbox type). These HRE's look great as the spokes don't go to the outer edge, which makes them look smaller. My other concern is 25 profile tire in rear and a little more weight then necessary.
It's all customer's choices. Most prefer the 21"//22" setup because arguably it looks better. The 335/25/22 tire used is load & speed rated for this car.

Understand and no issue with the rating and load...more like little buffer left to the rim on 25's but got it. I quoted a few wheel companies (;-)) and most immediately offered the 21/22 setup by default - that's why I am asking.

These are offered in 20"//21" as well for those that prefer keeping the OEM wheel diameters.
